this isn’t especially noteworthy, but it’s my way of testing out how video appears on my blog and you get to see a little claymation video i made for fun this summer.

Love your video. Your course in animation was a bonus. Good job.
Thanks! haha.. the only things my course in animation taught me are the following:
a) When a field is new and “hot”, colleges will jump at any chance to offer the program.
b) When something is offered because it’s “hot”, in a city that isn’t ‘hot’, in an old abandoned elementary school, and there’s only one teacher on staff who teaches the majority of the courses… there’s something odd going on.
c) It’s a damn good clue that your animation teacher doesn’t know what he’s doing when he doesn’t know how to use the specialized camera and some of the classes consist of reading chapters from books on how to animate.
d) When almost 50% of the students drop out before the second year of the program, it’s time to get the hell out of Dodge.
The verdict: Sometimes you learn a heck of a lot more by teaching yourself how to do something!
