…of the day: the music in my life

I haven’t had the time nor the energy to write thoughtful posts on my site this week and I probably won’t publish anything until the weekend.  So, I thought I’d take a bit of time to share something with you and since I’ve discovered a lot of new music as of late, I figured why not share a few videos that will give you an idea of what I’m listening to these days.

Amadou & Mariam – Sabali

Amadou & Mariam – Je pense à toi

Marina & The Diamonds – Numb

Martha Argerich plays Liszt Piano Concerto No 1 in E flat

Abd Al Malik – Gibraltar

Zazie – Je Suis Un Homme

Gotan Project – Epoca

Yeasayer – Sunrise

Enjoy and feel free to comment with a list of your favourite songs at the moment.  I’m always game to listen to new music!

the wailin’ jennys (all canadians except for current alto Heather Masse, she’s american) and regina spektor are my current favourites.
    and anything by eric whitacre.
not the same style as your posted stuff, but I hope you like it anyway!
you might want to search for “thepoliticalsailor” on youtube, he/she has a lot of Wailn’ Jennys stuff on his channel.
